To remain open and aware of our differences is to see with your heart, to see with your mind that maybe we are not so different. We are all made up of humans creating and living in society, from the beggar to the street vendor, from the traveler to the tourist, to the restaurant you eat in to those cooking the food you eat. We “must” remember that we are all the same. Instead of seeing ourselves as observers and tourists looking in from the outside we must see integrate, let us see ourselves as a part of the whole. Societies can only exist when people of all backgrounds come together. Embrace one another, embrace our similarities, embrace the unknown.
Start where you are and with an open mind, Embrace the unknown and ask questions. Write down your goals and your inspirations. Take a few minutes a day to sit and be still, to listen to your inner voice. Lastly, move your body everyday. Walk, hike, dance, swim and play music.
Your fitness journey can begin anytime. Every Body can move and breathe, you have everything you need to enjoy the joys of your movement practice! Yes, there are some very hard classes and also some very gentle classes, from beginning to advanced classes. My experience in teaching over the last 20 years have ranged from kids yoga to seniors yoga, pilates and everyone in between. If you're looking for something specific I am also available for creating private sessions for you.
